Converted warehouse in Madrid

The lovely loft that you see now was once a warehouse. It’s located in Madrid and it suffered a careful renovation meant to turn the cold warehouse into a warm and cozy home. Now the loft in filled with natural light from the large windows. In the living room there’s beautiful vintage table complemented by British ottomans and a comfy chaise lounge. The white sofa completes the whole image.

In one of the rooms there’s a very beautiful zebra skin rug that contrasts but, in the same time, completes the vintage décor. Most of the furniture has been custom made. Several pieces were designed by Rocio Galatas. One of them is the beautiful black sofa with the lovely chaise longue nearby. It’s decorated with contrasting cushions. In the living room there’s also a large storage unit with plenty of shelves and room for all the collectibles and decorative items. It can also be sued as a bookcase.

Next to the living room, there’s a work area that has been created. It’s composed of a functional desk and some chairs upholstered with cowhide. The concrete floor matches very nicely this décor. The living room is connected to the kitchen through a hallway that then leads to the bedroom wing. The living room also allows access to a central courtyard.

The kitchen is a sort of glass cube with sliding doors. It opens to the dining room, beautifully decorated with black velvet-draped table and leather chairs. As you can see, most of the furniture is vintage, with elegant designs and chic touches.{found on nuevo-estilo}
