The couple and their two children went to take a look at the site and they immediately fell in love with the views and the surroundings. From there you can see the classic Andalusian village of Gaucín, with its white-washed homes, perched on the crest of the Sierra del Hacho, and the jagged mountains of the Serranía de Ronda to the east. The couple finalized the plans to buy the plot in 2004 but they had to wait another year for the permit that would allow them to build there.

On one side there’s a terrarium surrounded by glass that holds palm trees while on the other side there’s a dining room with a custom solid oak table. Off the dining room there’s a metal staircase next to a kitchen/family room. Upstairs there’s the master bedroom and the children’s rooms. I think we can all agree that it was worth waiting just to be able to enjoy such a beautiful vacation home.{found on nytimes}
