Maximum Garden House is a truly amazing home in Singapore and was designed by Formwerkz Architects. Siting on a 350sqm plot this house had as a prime motivation the use of as much garden space as possible. The client wanted a space where she could keep an eye on her 2 young boys without the need to be in the same space.
This residence has great features such as the vertical wall planting set within the front wall, the building façade on the upper level which acts as a curtain wall and the sloping roof terrace that is derived from a section of the house and maintains a continuous flow from the interior.
This contemporary house has a lot of floor to ceiling windows which bathe the space in natural light. Moreover the color palette used is made up of bright and dark colors, getting the perfect contrast for the big open floor plan. In addition, you can see some gorgeous light fixtures and furniture that give this home a sense of a warm and welcoming place.
Although it is located on quite a small site this sophisticated residence is a great place to raise your children. It has a lot of garden spaces which are an oasis and the focal point for a place like this. The Maximum Garden House is a statement and a sanctuary to retreat to.
