Contemporary Como Lake Resort Stays Casual In An Elegant Way

The Como Lake Resort is a peaceful and beautiful place one can find in Laglio,Italy. Overlooking Lake Como, it provides the most wonderful background and a lovely landscape which can be admired both from inside the modern apartments or from the numerous outdoor decks and terraces. The Poliform Projects team is responsible for the interior design. They used a contemporary concept throughout, focusing on simplicity and comfort. In the living room, the full height windows and sliding glass doors provide most of the light while a series of small pendants and lamps tucked in corners offer additional artificial lighting when needed.

The room is furnished with a Skip modular wall console by Studio Kairos, a piece meant to be very versatile and flexible allowing multiple configurations for a personalized living space. A square Tribeca coffee table is placed at the center and all the seating modules are arranged around it. The table features an interesting combination of materials, with a metal structure and a marble top.

The dining area is linked to the living space and they share an open floor plan. Here the team used a Concorde table with a sculptural frame and a sleek and elegant glass top. A series of Grace armchairs and fabric chairs are placed around the table coordinating with each other and with the furniture used in the living area.

The kitchen is simple and modern. It’s a long and narrow space with counters, storage and appliances built into parallel wall units. The Artex kitchen island has a simple and natural aesthetic and the Ics bar stools are a lovely choice in this case, complementing the space beautifully with their versatile design.
