Brooklyn Family Loft In A Former Factory

Designing a family home in a way that makes everyone happy while still maintaining a cohesive look is not easy. But this family loft really has it all. It can be found in a former factory in Dumbo. The building was converted and now it’s an inviting home. The loft has everything a family could need. The kitchen is large and functional, the living room is welcoming, the dining room is elegant and the bedrooms are cozy.

Because the kitchen is white, it becomes very bright and airy

The loft has a white kitchen which feels very open and spacious. The kitchen is actually at the center of the living space. It has a wall of open shelving and an island with built-in microwave and oven. The living room is also open and airy and it features brick walls which have been left unfinished just to add some texture and rustic charm.

The furniture throughout is simple and functional

Opposite to the dining area there’s a study area/library with a desk and open shelves. The vintage chairs are interesting-looking. The color palette throughout the loft is not very bold. Gray was used as a unifying shade.{found on remodelista and images by Matthew Williams}.
