Black House In The Forest Filled With The Beautiful Sound Of Music

A small plot in the forest, surrounded by tall trees, nature and tranquility – this is where a couple chose to build their new house. The site is located in Kulantuva, Lithuania and the house doesn’t really much on the views, although they are beautiful. What the owners really wanted from this black house was for it to be a place where they could relax and listen to the blues music that they love so much. It was architecture and design studio Archispecktras who made that dream come true. As requested by their clients, they gave the house a large and tall living area right at the center. This way the music can reach every room of the house and fill it with joy.

This is a house designed with a very specific purpose in mind and it prioritizes comfort over everything else. The black exterior gives it a subdued look and helps it blend in with the forest landscape. Strategic openings and glazed wall sections ensure ease of access and a strong bond between the indoor and the outdoor spaces but only in certain specific areas of the house. Inside, the design and decor are modest and simple but also modern and stylish. The reading corner facing the large window is one of the best spots in the house. The window continues upwards onto the slanted ceiling which also looks cool from the outside.
