This Long Island Sound home was designed by Sound Beach Partners and it can be seen and admired in the Jan/Feb issue of East Coast Home + Design. The photos have been taken by Neil Landino. The whole house was designed keeping in mind the sun, sand and the sea. It was meant to be a relaxing retreat for those who miss the days spent on the beach. Living in that house is like being n a continuous holiday.
The color palette used throughout the house is mostly neutral and composed of tones of white, grey and beige, with some blue and other vibrant elements for contrast. The overall look is inviting and elegant, with a rustic touch that really makes it unique. This is visible mostly in the bathroom where there’s a very beautiful mirror with an interesting frame. There are also other similar details spread through the entire house.
The kitchen is very spacious and elegantly decorated. It’s a pleasure to spend time cooking in there. From the kitchen you go straight to the living room. This one has a very comfortable look and a very cozy atmosphere. It’s an interactive space, perfect for friendly chats and conversations. The house also features very large windows that allow natural light to get inside and allow the users to admire the outside view. It’s not as spectacular as other views and the landscape is not incredible but it’s still pleasant too watch.
