The clients were looking for a location that would offer them privacy but also freedom in terms of design. They decided to choose this area mostly because it was a remote place with few permanent inhabitants but also with a diversity of styles. That also meant that they were among the first persons to inhabit the area.

When they decided on a design for their new house, the main elements that they wanted to integrate were flexibility and style. The clients wanted this to be their private and permanent residence but they also wanted it to be able to accommodate visitors and to occasionally host their children. After consulting with the architects, they decided to have a single-level residence.

The front façade of the house is very simple and composed of stacked pieces of wood that can either offer privacy or expansive views. The back of the house features a roller metal curtain that can be activated by pressing a key. This was a security matter for the owners. Overall, this is a very simple, modern and flexible home that could set the pace for the future residences.{found on archdaily and pics by Gustavo}.
