The residence was completed in 2015. and is a two-story single family home. The site is surrounded by vegetation and scenic views and the design of the house makes the most of them. Both floors are a combination of open and covered spaces, featuring terraces and niches designed to welcome the outdoors in, making this one of the most beautifully balanced modern houses anywhere.

The facade is dark and simple and the two floors mirror each other, each having similar layouts and shapes. Also, both levels have a glazed facade with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass walls that capture the beauty of the views.

At the core of the house there’s a double-height space. It has skylights so light can enter all adjacent spaces. This central area also incorporates a sculptural staircase and a brick fireplace. This double-height space forms an open floor plan with the adjacent kitchen.
The layout is interesting and unusual. The staircase wall holds a wall-mounted TV and, as it spirals up, it forms a niche to the side of the fireplace wall. Through here another room can be accessed.

The combination of materials and finishes used throughout is designed to create contrasts and a welcoming ambiance. They include large tiles and oak boards used for the floors, bricks and lots of glass. A lot of the furniture was custom made and the whole project was focused on creating a smooth and natural indoor-outdoor transition.
