58 Sqm Of Stylish Open Space In An Apartment From Ukraine

The size of an apartment is, of course, important but it’s not always the element that defines the place. There are plenty of homes that are small but look amazing and plenty of huge homes that are designed poorly. It just so happens that we found an apartment that may be a little too small for some people but that looks just wonderful.

The apartment is located in Ukraine, more specifically in Kiev. It’s a studio apartment that was originally a two-rom loft. It was transformed into the lovely space by Dan Vakhramieiev, creative director at FILD.

The apartment is situated in a pre-revolutionary building that still features architecture and design details such as old moldings and stone walls. The interior of this particular space is, however, very modern and suitable for a young couple.

With a total surface of 58.5 square meters, the apartment is not exactly tiny but not very spacious either. It’s somewhere in between and we just have to say that every little bit of space has been used wonderfully. Once you step inside, you can see an open plan space that contains the kitchen and the bedroom, a rather unusual combination.

The dressing room and the bathroom are separate spaces. In order to visually detect and delimitate the functional zones, lighting was given special attention. As for the interior décor, it’s easy to notice that the overall style is simplistic, modern and casual. The color palette includes neutral shades and tiny spots of vibrant color.
