This is House N, a residence located in Moscow, Russia. Originally, the initial house was built in the 1990s. The owner recently it was time for a change..and it was a big one. The entire house was redesigned and it basically became a whole new residence. In 2013 it got a new identity. The whole transformation was a project by 4a Arkiteckten.
The changes brought to the house were major. The new design is harmonious and everything is in perfect sync. House is a bright and spacious residence with smooth dialogue between the rooms as well as between the indoor and outdoor areas. The project was more than just a simple renovation. It was a complete reinterpretation of the existing building.
The interior is very open and bright. The house has two levels. The living area is very spacious and situated on the ground floor. It has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the outdoors. A spiral staircase offers access to the upper spaces. The staircase has a sleek and elegant design and the shape makes it space-saving.
Upstairs the design is similar to the rest of the house and thus the whole décor is cohesive. The bedrooms are technically occupying the attic. Here, the décor is serene and simple and the shape of the ceiling makes them feel cozy and intimate.
