Workspace Magic: Creative but Practical Desk Ideas

How many times have you gone to your desk only to find that it is covered in pens, USBs, manuals and paper? Alternatively, how many times have you gone to your desk to discover that you can’t find a pen at all? Organisation is a funny thing. There are those of us who just put things here, there and everywhere. And then there are those of us who have the knack for making things disappear.

The key is to make your work space one that offers the perfect blend between creativity and practicality. Somewhere you will have enough space to work at and store of your supplies conveniently, yet somewhere that also looks cool and is inspiring.

Chalkboard Accessories.

Chalkboard storage pieces and accessories are fantastic. You get to kill two birds with one stone. You can store all of your bits and pieces but you can also make notes too. And then once you are all done and dusted with the note simply wipe it away to make room for a new one.

The Milk Desk.

If you are an Apple fan then this desk has been designed as your organisational saviour. It boasts the sleek and minimalistic design we have come to expect from the technology giants. There is a lot to love about this desk. It minimises clutter as you have a way of hiding your cables.

There are four compartments that can be configured to suit whatever you are storing inside – from pens to gadgets to even an aquarium (yes you did read that right). And if that wasn’t cool enough; it electronically moves up and down to suit the person using it.

Wall Accessories.

Attach these small storage compartments to the side of your desk (either on the outer or the inner side). They are perfect for storing pens, USBs, paperclips and alike. Not only that, but they look chic and stylish too.

The Bibliochaise.

Are you sick of stacking all of your textbooks and manuals on your desk? If the answer to that question is yes, then you need the Bibliochaise. Not only is there a huge space for book storage, but you won’t have to go far to grab one either! And you will be pleased to know that the chair is extremely comfortable as well. What’s not to love?

Cord Catch.

And finally, tangled cords are undoubtedly a major nuisance for anyone who works at a desk and uses a computer. This handy, cheap and effective little accessory solves that problem perfectly!
