Wonderful Rehabilitated Dishware by Sarah Cihat

The other days I visited my grandmother and I could not stop noticing her old and out of fashion kitchen dishware. Many of these old pieces were discolored, chipped or out of use .Still my grandmother was not interested in replacing them with others and she could not break with them. For her their sentimental value seemed more important than their exterior aspect or out of fashion design.

Quickly I reminded of this wonderful Rehabilitated Dishware by Sarah Cihat who tried to save such old pieces from their destruction and disappearance .her project gave a new face and a new use of this old dishware by working again with new colors and designs for their transformation. They got a new allure and a new goal. Some of them became decorative items others continued to be used for our daily things.

Rehabilitated Dishware represents a wonderful way of recycling things, helping the environment and why not a great opportunity to express your creativity and imagination by designing beautiful things.

Maybe now my grandmother will be willing to accept some modifications if she knows that she can keep her precious dishware instead of throwing it away or being forced to give up on it and appreciate the usefulness of the new obtained items.
