Windowfarm Vertical Garden

Some people, like me, love plants, but do not have enough space for them. I do not have a garden because I live in a block of flats, but I still like growing a lot of plants. And I have recently decided to grow many aromatic plants that I can use for my cooking in my own home, by using this very useful and space saving Windowfarm Vertical Garden. It is indeed a garden that is developed vertically instead of horizontally as we were used to . This is actually a complex of well designed modular flower pots that can be hanged in the window in order to have all the natural light plants need to grow.

The system that connects all the pots is called hydroponic and is very innovative: water filled with nutrients is pumped upwards and then it goes from one plant to another, feeding them and making them grow. The surplus is further dropped to the next pot through a hole at the bottom and it gathers in a reservoir under each row of plants. It will be recycled again until it is totally absorbed. The system is very interesting and you can choose to have only one row of plants, two or even four rows, depending on the space you have or on your wish. One such row can be bought for $119.95.
