What color should I choose for my nursery

Choosing the right color for the nursery is very difficult. Of course, there are the standard options: pink if it’s a girl and blue if it’s a boy.Usually yellow and green and something you choose when you don’t know yet if you’re going to have a boy or a girl. But there are also plenty of other colors that can be very beautiful for a nursery. Let’s see what other options there are.

We’re going to forget about the traditional choices are try to be a little more original. This means that blue and pink are out of the questions. They are very nice colors but there are already some many clichees related to these colors that it’s starting to get annoying. Let’s what else you can choose from.

For example, purple is a very beautiful color. It’s a visualy stimulating color and it’s also sometimes associated with spirituality and royalty. Of course, there are many different shades of purple. The dark tone might not be the best choice for the nursery. On the other hand, lavender is a great color for this space. It’s a lovely pastel and it also has a soothing efect, just like blue, except that it’s less common.A purple nursery can e a great alternative for both boys and girls.

Another very beautiful color is green. It’s the color usually associated with nature and it’s used to create fresh and calm environments. Pastel green is not a very alluring color but more vivid shades of green can work really nice. Green is also a color that can be easily combined with yellow. It’s a quite coomon choice for nurseries and it’s easy to see why.

A very rarely used color in this case is orange. It’s not very popular, not even for other spaces such as living rooms or kitchens. It’s a curious fact, considering that orange is a very bright and happy color. It’s true that it can be a little too tiresome for a bedroom but it’s a great accent color.{picture sources:1,2,3,4 and 5}.
