Warendorf Revealed Four New Kitchens by Philippe Starck

A kitchen needs to be functional and compact. We’re not talking about the actual size of the room but about the interior design and its characteristics. Of course, style is very important as well. Every once in a while, a designer manages to shed a new light on the whole concept behind this room. For example, Warendorf, a German kitchen manufacturer, has introduced four new kitchen models that impress on more than one level. The kitchens have been designed by Philippe Starck.

The Duality Kitchen

Each kitchen design has a name. They are called “Library”, “Duality”, “Primary” and “Tower” and they each feature very interesting designs. The Library kitchen features a series of shelves and is quite similar to a bookcase. This gives it the elegance of living room furniture while also maintaining its functionality.

The designer tried this way to create a connection between food and culture. The Primary kitchen features a very nice shade of yellow and has a sleek and compact design that makes it suitable for smaller spaces.

The Duality kitchen can be accessed from two sides, hence the name. It has a very modern and simple look and the stainless steel gives it a strong visual impact. The Tower kitchen is also interesting. It features a series of towers, each with a distinct function. The towers can be rotated 340 degrees and this allows us to experience a new and very practical approach. Each model is unique and impresses with something different.
