Located on the outskirts of Madrid, this beautiful villa is a tribute to the vintage interior design. It’s full of references to the 50s and 60s cinema era and stylish charm dominates the whole space. The house is very relaxing and peaceful, an atmosphere which is common to most vintage-inspired spaces.

This place was a project by interior designer Leticia Martinez. The goal was to transform the house and to give a fresh new look without using modern and contemporary influences. As a result, the designer decided to avoid minimalist which can often be perceived as being very cold and went instead for something more cozy and inviting. One of the main ideas was to reflect the character of the owners and to transform this space into a perfect family home.

The result was this very warm and harmonious interior design. Everything is in perfect balance. The color palette includes shades of brown, black, beige, grey and green which beautifully complement each other. The designer used geometric and floral patterns for the wallpaper as well as for some of the accent details. You can also observe the use of natural fabrics and linens such as cotton and velvet used for the sofa, armchairs as well as for the blinds. The focal point, however, is the beautiful antique furniture.{found on nuevo-estilo}.
