It’s located in Marina di Ragusa, Sicily, Italy and it was designed and built by Architrend Architecture in collaboration with Patrizia Anfuso and Marco Garfì. The property is part of a complex of multiple houses, all offering expansive and incredibly beautiful views over the Mediterranean sea and a stretch of coast in the direction of the island of Malta.

The design of this house has been inspired by the Case Study Houses (CSH) implemented in the ’50s by John Entenza and the magazine he founded “Art & Architecture”. The villa that you see here has an L-shaped plan set around a large swimming pool. The architecture of the house is clean and simple and the materials used are steel and wood for the frame, glass for the side walls and cement for the floors.

There’s also a very beautiful garden on the property, featuring a collection of Mediterranean plants with cacti and palm trees. As for the interior, the walls are painted with a white opaque tone that is in contrast with the wooden beams of the roof. The kitchen faces the sea and the pool. The white of the walls and furniture is complemented by the grey cement floors and the seats of the living room.{found on archdaily}
