Vera Wang’s modern glass and steel home in Beverly Hills

Fashion designer Vera Wang has recently bought a new house in Beverly Hills and it’s not just an ordinary house. This stylish Mid Century Modern has a unique architecture and a very interesting combination of materials. The house features a lot of glass. Actually, it’s a combination of glass and steel, which is not something you usually see, especially when it comes to houses.

The owner, in this case a fashion designer, wanted a home that would allow incredible views from anywhere in the house. And that’s exactly what she has now. This chic house, originally built in 1967, now has a very different look.

It’s simple, stylish and modern. The floor-to-ceiling windows don’t offer much intimacy, although that’s what most public figures want, but in exchange it offers exquisite views and nothing can top that.

The house features 4 bedrooms ad 4 bathrooms, high ceilings, a huge family room and a 30 seat screening room. So it’s an impressive home, with glass walls throughout the house. This allows spectacular views from downtown all the way to the sea. Vera Wang bought the place for approx. $10 million. You can immediately see that the owner has an acute sense of style. Before she became a fashion designer, Vera Wang was previously a figure skater. To grace and elegance have always been part of her life.{found on wsj}.
