Vacation Home on Lake Okoboji by Min I Day

Today has been the kind of day, where more than structures we’ve talked about their mesmerizing locations and another addition to this list are this vacation home on lake Okoboji, Iowa, which has been finished by architectural group Min I Day.  For the architectural concern, the client motto of ‘its’ all about the lake’ was the design inspiration and the came up with a facility based on the same punch-line.

This house has an interesting location as it is based on a diminutive lot on the dense shoreline where old cottages and new McMansions have been raised together. The house has an amazing network of spatial frames which help focusing on the surrounding view instead of the neighborhood.{Photographs: Paul Crosby Architectural Photography}
