Unconventional Sofa by Jess Fugler: Jam Sofa

The Jam sofa introduces a very interesting idea. As you might have realized by now, it’s difficult to find a sofa when you’re a bachelor. It needs to be simple and masculine and it’s not easy to find something like that when most sofas are designed for families. The Jam sofa is a first step to solve that problem. The design for this piece is based on the things that make a man happy. Those elements have been transposed into a piece of furniture and the result was the Jam sofa.

The Jam sofa has a design that takes into consideration the pleasure offered by two elements: lounging and physical connection. The sofa has an elongated shape and armrests to support the head. It’s perfect for lounging, relaxing, watching TV and other similar activities. Moreover, the sofa features another interesting detail. Its design has also been inspired by items that always get lost between the cushions. With the Jam sofa you will no longer have that problem.

The Jam sofa allows you to store those objects wherever you want. This way they will always be close when you need them and you will never loose them again. The sofa features two cushions, one on top of each other. There’s space between them and this allows the user to insert objects in there and hide them whenever he needs to. Useful objects such as the remote, a book or other items can be safely stored between the cushions. Moreover, the Jam sofa also has a very simple and masculine design, perfect for bachelors.
