Turn your memories into art

First you will need to find the wall most suitable for the new art peace. Then you will have to purchase from a office supply store a wood-framed oversize corkboard and have it painted in the color of the wall, that way creating a floating aspect. Depending on the available wall space, you may choose to make two or three smaller pieces on the same wall or why not matching ones for the other walls.

Next you will have to choose the photos you want to use. This part can be easy if you want to put only landscapes of the places you traveled but you can also put a story, like pictures with your baby as he grew up. If you have an open mind and a courageous spirit you can go for colors instead of photos. Before printing the images you will have to edit them in black and white and here’s a little tip: make room for a little white border in order to add a touch of style.

After printing them you can start arranging them into the desired geometrical form that suits better your room. You can choose to glue the photos but it’s better if you use clear pushpins because later you will be able to move the pictures around or simply remove them and place new ones instead.

Now that the peace of art is made you can put it in its place and admire it. You have to be careful with the lightning in the room, it would be a shame for it not to have enough light because it’s possible that the visitors will pass by without admiring and complimenting your hard work, your great talent and inspiration!{picture 1, 2,3,and 4}
