Triangle Lantern by John Saladino

Summer is almost over and the nights are already getting longer and longer. It will soon be dark when it used to be afternoon. So we need light if we want to continue with all the activities we do after sunset. It has always been like that and only the means used for lighting have been different. Now electricity is the most common source of light and lamps and chandeliers are a common sight in any home. But somehow I think wall sconces or lanterns are a lot more interesting. For example this Triangle Lantern by John Saladino is totally unusual, but very attractive at the same time.

This lantern got its name from its shape, from the fact that it is indeed triangular and looking nice against the wall. It is designed by John Saladino and it bring a sort of industrial look to the room or hallway where you place it. It has a nice metal frame that becomes even more interesting as you notice the fake patina. The two glass panes of the lanterns are made of frosted glass or crackled glass. The visual effect of the light going through this particular kind of glass is amazing. Contact the showroom for a price if you are interested.
