Timeless Antwerp home by Vincent Van Duysen
Some people are called visionaries because they have this ability of creating things that never get old, timeless pieces that you can analyze 10 years after and still think they were new. Vincent Van Duysen is one of those people. He designed this Antwerp home that features a very distinguished interior design. If you were to see these pictures without having any prior information about the house you would probably think it’s a contemporary home, recently designed and decorated.
In fact, this residence was designed in 2001. Of course, nowadays it’s less surprising to see how modern some thing can look when they were designed beginning with the year of 2000. This home for example looks so fresh and bright that you might get fooled. It’s a timeless design indeed.
I really love how all the colors, textures and patterns combine and form a harmonious composition. It’s so simple and yet so eye-catching and beautiful. It’s actually the minimalist that makes us think it’s a contemporary design. I like how every room has a different look and yet they all match and form a uniform décor. It’s a very stylish home, elegant, chic, modern and bold in the same time. It’s not something easy to create. I’m sure that this home would look fresh and modern even 10 years from now. This is a home that doesn’t need renovations.
