Tick Universal Table Legs by Jakob Schenk

I remember when I first moved into my new home, I did not have any furniture, since we wanted to re-arrange the house first and only after that buy matching furniture. Any way, we did not have a table and we had to improvise by using different pieces of board and two chairs. I remembered all these things when I saw this interesting Tick table leg designed by Jakob Schenk. It looks like a huge office paper clip that is used for boards instead. It gets attached to any kind of board or other similar materials you want to use as a table and do not have the legs. So these Tick universal table legs will do the job properly in no time.

What is so interesting about Tick is the fact that it gets attached easily, in a simple manner and you do not need any screws or nails to make the “table” stand properly. This table leg is only a piece of bent stainless steel looking like an over-sized paper clip, but the brilliant way in which it gets attached to the board and turns it into a functional table is its essential feature.

Any way, this is only a prototype, a design and concept come to life from the sparkling mind of Jakob Schenk, but it will soon be available on the market. Until then feel free to contact the designer directly, either on his Finland address or in Germany on offcial site.
