The Yu Bar, elegance and exclusivity
The Yu Bar is a successful project created by Kokaistudios and it is actually a glamorous rooftop bar of the newly opened Shanghai Marriott Luwan. It is located on the banks of the Huangpu River, on the 28th and 29th floor and featuring a terrace, which provides spectacular views of the city. The name “Yu” is a classical Chinese character, symbolizing elegance and exclusivity at the same time and this is what this entire place stands for.
It is an inspiration of the design, which combines nostalgic touches and contemporary decor, blending traditional Chinese flavor with Western romance in the most contemporary direction of 2012. At night, the bar seems to belong to another world, revealing a different perspective over life and over the surrounding beauty.
The terrace provides some phenomenal views that any guest gets to like and, at the same time, a very relaxing place where you can enjoy a drink in the company of your friends. Inside, everything follows the same pattern and no matter where you look, you meet the same elegance and exclusivity that make you appreciate such a place; you feel at ease and spend your time in a pleasant way.
