The YALE easy chair down version by Jean-Marie Massaud

Stylish and versatile but with a compact design, the Yale easy chair is perfect for modern living rooms. This is a new down-filled version of Yale sofas and the Yale armchair and it has been presented at imm cologne 2012. It’s the result of combining simplicity with comfort. The new version of the Yale armchair is light, cozy and also stylish.

The chair was designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for MDF Italia. The new design is close to the original but more simple and with a contemporary look. The Yale project was included in the 2010 ADI Design Index, an honor bestowed by the Association for Industrial Design on the most important products introduced over the past three years. In 2011, the project was also entered in the competition for the XXII edition of the Compasso d’Oro award, the design world’s most sought-after, most prestigious recognition of quality in the production and design of goods and services.

It’s obvious that it’s a very appreciated design. It features a minimalist frame and padded upholstery. All padded parts are made of variable-density wadding. It’s a very comfortable piece of furniture and it has a simple and chic design. All cushions are structural and come with removable covers. The frame of the chair is painted in matt white or black. The overall dimensions of this product are 860mm W x 1000mm D x 760mm H.
