The Standard House by KWK Promes

Houses can be seen everywhere, all over the world. They all have distinctive features, but they also have some common details and structures. In an order to make the designing process easier, KWK Promes has come up with an ingenious idea: to design a house that fits every plot, a standard house. That’s actually how they called it.

The Standard house attempts to adapt to the location. It has a round shape and it seems to have been built of a single giant piece of material. It’s like someone has taken a giant tree and sculpted it into the shape of a house. The design is modern and very attractive. It’s really a universal design that can easily adapt to all the conditions, regardless of the location or the landscape. It’s obvious that this house has been built keeping in mind factors like sustainability and functionality. The house uses natural building materials and renewable energy sources, so the impact on the environment would diminish.

The Standard House is not at all pretentious. It has a funny design and it can be easily adapted to any location. The unusual round shape might make it harder to choose furniture, but it’s a better choice when it comes to isolation. Unfortunately there are no interior pictures so you’ll have to use your imagination.
