The reinvented Arch London – a hotel with personality
Arch London is a modern hotel located near Hyde Park. It shares the name of the nearby arch and it’s as triumphant as the landmark itself. The Arch, as it stands written at the entrance, is a hotel that’s been reinvented throughout the years but that still has something from its original design. Many architectural elements have been preserved in order to maintain the charm and style of the building.
The interior has been modernized but not in a very radical way. It still features the classical style specific to the British people of the era when the building was first designed. The rooms are comfortable and inviting without lacking style. Even though they all have different styles and decors, even their own personalities one might say, they all follow the same elegant lines and patterns. The colors palettes vary from room to room. Some are neutral while others area a little more colorful. Nevertheless, there’s always a nice balance of colors and textures.
The hotel offers 82 rooms. They are sleek and modern and feature full height windows. The rooms on the first floor also have balconies. The guests can relax in their rooms, visit the surroundings and then come back and relax in the Martini Library where all you have to do is press a button for a drink refresh while reading a book. The hotel’s restaurant, HUNter 486, uses organic, sustainable and locally-sources ingredients and techniques. The atmosphere is warm and inviting but also stylish and sleek without feeling pretentious.
