The polycarbonate Baroque table lamp

In 2005, designer Ferruccio Laviani decided to take a new approach to a classic design. He created this beautiful and eye-catching table lamp. It has a design inspired by the baroque influences. The lamp is contrasting. On one hand we have the classic lines and traditional details but on the other hand we have the unconventional material the lamp is made of as well as the new technical improvements.

The lamp is made entirely of transparent or batch-dyed polycarbonate. It’s an innovative approach to a classical idea. The price of the lamp is approximately $307.70 but it varies with the options you choose. Because it features a baroque design, it’s composed of three decorated layers. These are interconnected and form a harmonious composition. The lamp is beautifully decorated and very stylish. One particularly beautiful element is the plisse effect that the lampshade has.

Regardless of the color or finish you choose, all models are adaptable. This means that they have a special coupling system that allows them to be assembled at three different heights: 26.75″, 28.75″ and 30.75″.. The lamp is also versatile despite its design. It can be used as a table lamp for the living room, as a desk lamp for the office or even as a floor or nightstand lamp in the bedroom. It’s particularly good for the bedroom because it also features a touch-sensitive dimmer. The lamp was designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2005. It comes in several finishes including crystal, matte black, white, chrome and gold. The gold and chrome versions are made of chromed steel while the other ones are crafted using smooth batch-dyed polycarbonate. The lamp accommodates three 40w bulbs and its overall dimensions are 27-31″ H x 14.5″ W.
