The Plate chair collection by Luca Nichetto

Kristalia is the name of another interesting chair collection. This time it was designed by luca nichetto and it was created in 2008 for Kristalia. You’ll notice that each piece of this collection features unique lines and a series of unmistakable elements. The collection combines elegant lines and stylish designs with traditional finishes and the result is a remarkable and unique collection.

The chairs feature simple designs with very few details. However, there’s something very interesting about the shape of these chairs. If you look closely and carefully you’ll notice that they resemble racing cars. The similarities are not striking but still, they’re there.

The chairs have been crafted with die-cast aluminum legs and colored upholstery. Each model comes in three different widths: 18.4”, 19.8” or 27.5”. Also, the collection is available in two versions: with normal sleek legs or with an office chair-like base on castors and with armrests. This version is particularly used in offices. The dimensions vary, so can choose between the plate 46: 18.4”w x 18.2” seat height x 31.2”h x 20.8”d, the plate 50: 19.8”w x 18.2” seat height x 31.2”h x 20.8”d, the plate 50 adjustable height on castors: 19.8”w x 16.5” to 20.8” seat height x 29.5” to 33.8”h x 25.6”d and the plate 70: 27.5”w x 15” seat height x 28”h x 24.8”d.Available here.
