This cozy and inviting house was designed for a couple with twins. It’s located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on the ocean side of the Mornington Peninsula. They wanted the house to stimulate the senses and to be like a rhapsody for the eye and for the soul. The architects used those ideas and tried to materialize them. They also added great craftsmanship to the mix and the result was a perfect family home. The owners are able to relax in their cozy and inviting home, go out to admire the garden and smell the flowers, have a look out the windows to see the views and also feel safe in their own private piece of paradise.

To make the house feel as cozy as it does, the architects avoided creating very large rooms that would only feel cold. They opted for smaller spaces with warm decors. They also paid special attention to the materials they used so they included lots of wood for both the exterior and the interior. This way they created a natural look and a warm and inviting décor. They were also careful when delimitating the areas and created two wings. One is for the children while the other one is for the adults. The internal structure is simple and functional and the interior design is perfect for this type of home.{found on archdaily and pics by Earl Carter/a>}.
