The Parsons audio end table

Part of the Parsons Collection this intriguing end table features the same simple and elegant lines as all the pieces from the same collection. The main idea behind this design was to combine the functionality of the end table with the utility of technology that we use every day.

Parsons Audio End Table
The result was the Parsons Audio End Table. It’s a simple piece of furniture that has an integrated docking station and speaker system that will allow you to use it with your iPod and other audio devices. The idea was very clever. The end table usually stays near the sofa or bed, somewhere where it’s reachable and it’s usually used to store practical items like the phone or the audio system for example. So why not integrate those into the table itself?

It’s actually very useful. You can charge your iPod or iPhone while listening to your favorite tunes. The Parsons Audio end Table is made of engineered wood with a lacquer finish. The front speaker is covered with fabric. The dimensions of the table are 20″sq. x 22″h. Minimal assembly will be required. You can buy the table for EUR313.03. Be sure to wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Also, avoid the use of chemicals and household cleaners in order to protect the finish. And since hardware may loosen over time, be sure to check periodically that all connections are tight.
