The Microsoft office building from Switzerland
This is the Microsoft office building from Wallisellen, Switzerland. The whole building is impressive and beautiful but now we’re going to focus on an area in particular. It’s the new Briefing Center that was designed by Stuttgart based firm Coast Office Architecture. The center has been recently completed and can finally be used.
The Briefing Center is a meeting zone and it features a futuristic interior design. It has a monochrome décor featuring only black and white elements. This was a contrast is created between this classical combination that takes us back in time and the cutting edge décor. This stunning meeting area features a sleek laptop bar along with flat screen display monitors contained within a stretch of glossy black glass. The Briefing Center also uses Microsoft’s Kinect and Surface technology.
The furniture is minimalist and has asymmetrical designs and sharp, geometrical shapes. The walls have reflective surfaces that project the light from the monitors throughout the space. This futuristic Briefing Center is separated from the rest of the office. It’s delimitated by floor-to-ceiling grey curtains contained within a glass perimeter. As a result, the meetings can be held either in a dramatic and private environment or in a dynamic space where everyone can see everything that happens outside the transparent glass walls. This area was designed for official meetings and it features a huge meeting table with a total of 20 seats.
