The intimate Monaci delle Terre Nere retreat

Monaci delle Terre Nere is a beautiful house located in Sicily, Italy. It’s a structure that was originally built in the 18th century when monks settled near Mount Etna. The house is situated in the middle of an organic farm and it offers views of the Mediterranean Sea. It’s a very peaceful and calm area. The house was rescued and restored by its current owner and host Guido Coffa. It took five years for this structure to be transformed into the luxury villa it is today.

The villa offers six beautiful rooms that feature a combination of traditional Sicilian architecture and contemporary art. Four of the rooms are situated in the main building while the other two are located in the barn that was also recently renovated. The mix of antique and modern is very beautiful and striking. Each room has its own individual style and they all have separate entrances from the garden. They also all have beautiful views, either of Mount Etna or the Mediterranean Sea.

The host of the villa is ready to make your stay unforgettable and as pleasant as possible. You can enjoy a wonderful Italian feast at a small restaurant and everything will be ready before you even arrive there. You can also have a private tour of Mount Etna or go wine tasting. The host even produces great red wine from the farm itself. The guests can choose between a variety of delicious jams and freshly squeezed juices for breakfast as well as some traditional Italian goodies.
