The fascinating Gombi Hotel in Bergamo

This is the Gombi Hotel, an artistic and very beautiful structure located in the ancient village of Bergamo. It sits next to the Torre del Gombito, a 13th century stone tower and it has a very distinctive design. The Gombi Hotel is basically an experimental laboratory and gallery space where young artists come to work together. It’s a like a big space filled with creativity and inspiration.

The interiors of the Gombi Hotel have been created by designer Gio Pozzi. He came up with a simple and linear design with a very distinctive style.

It combines the old and the new, the ancient and the contemporary parts of the city and it’s a sort of eclectic space where you can basically feel free to express your creativity. Both the architecture and the interior designs of this place are interesting. They include the use of pastel colors and simple but basic materials. The main goal for the designers of this place was to create a welcoming and very pure space.

The Gombi Hotel has four levels and it features 13 rooms, all different one from the others. Still, there’s a certain uniformity throughout the hotel. The furniture has been carefully chosen and it’s designed for absolute comfort and they include clear references to the linear geometry of the Tower. The interior is very inviting and welcoming and it includes minimalist colors and materials such as gray stone slabs, rope and gray-brown for the wooden flooring.
