Aristocratic Grand Hotel Villa Cora in Florence

Located just outside the historical center of Florence, in Italy, the Grand Hotel Villa Cora is an aristocratic residence that was built at the end of the 19th century by Baron Oppenheim. The building reflects the architectural style of that period and it has been beautifully preserved and restored.

The hotel is very luxurious and it’s composed of three different structures. They have been all carefully restored as to preserve as much as possible the original design and architectural details. The attention to details is incredible. The hotel has a dramatic look. The exterior is imposing and the interior is theatrical. The interior décor is eclectic and features bizarre but artistic elements. The main villa of the hotel contains 30 luxury suites. They occupy four levels, each with a different style. The hotel also includes two restaurants. One is located in a winter garden while the other one is situated in the ancient cellars.

The interior design and decorations are inspired by famous persons that stayed at the hotel. Among them was the Japanese Emperor Hirohito that was the inspiration source for the interior of the imperial suite and Pasha Isma’il to whom one of the restaurants is dedicated who stayed in this villa for several years. The hotel also has a spa and wellness center. It’s a luxurious hotel with a theatrical and dramatic interior defined by exquisite architectural details and unique decorations.
