Thanksgiving decorations

Thanksgiving is a very meaningful and important holiday for the Americans and that is why it is celebrated every year with the same consideration as Christmas and Easter for example. But it is more than the commercial madness of buying gifts for Christmas , as this is the moment when the family members gather around the dinner table and thank God for everything they have. It’s time to be thankful and merciful , so you must think of the less fortunate, too. But preparing the family dinner can be turned into a festive moment, so the lady of the house usually uses some very nice Thanksgiving decorations that are either bought or handcrafted.

And since the symbol of this holiday is the turkey, most decorations will be shaped like a turkey or painted with a turkey on. These decorations can be cup or candle holders, napkin holders, wine jugs or simply decorations without any useful purpose other than … decorating.

This holiday is also regarded as a celebration of good  harvest and  plenitude, so another of the usual Thanksgiving decorations might be the abundance coop full of all sorts of autumn vegetables and crops. You will also see little pottery figures that look like the first pilgrims, reminding us of the old days. You can buy the items that you see in the pictures in an online store.
