Tensor Voting – a bookshelf and art by Guilio Parini

Modern homes usually have a minimalist design and prefer bookshelves instead of a hard and heavy bookcase. Besides, these bookshelves can save a lot of space because you mount them on the walls and this way leave the floor empty. You can use modern art objects, too if you want to add a Bohemian air to your house, but when you can combine the two it’s even better.

This unusual and uneven metal bookshelf that you can see in the pictures is actually a work of art created by the Swiss designer Guilio Parini. He uses a lot of thin metal parts to combine and result in a spectacular bookshelf he imagines on the spot. He can adjust it and make it wider, longer, shorter, depending on the need and circumstances.

So nothing is for ever, but you can change the pattern whenever you want to. He uses these tools that might seem to you as a pile of long nails to link together and to make new interesting metal bookshelves.
