Tabletop Ecosystems for Your Home

With the entire world taking note of the requirements of ecological balance and environment to suit it; it is natural that architects all over the world would be looking for living ecosystems in homes. Recent series of domestic ponds of Duende Studio fits into the slot pretty nicely.

Balancing the principles of everyday aquariums with the eco friendly systems, these ponds can be adapted in the contemporary interiors of homes if necessary. Working in collaboration with Marthieu Lehanneur, Eric Jourdan, and Benjamin Graindorge, Duende studio presented three different takes on the aquarium. Designs potent in each of the ponds are the existence of an array of fishes as well plants, living in total harmony. While the plants are  nourished by the fish and they in turn are benefited by the filtering powers of the plants in keeping the water pure.

A sparkling example of the architectural excellence; domestic ponds of Duende Studio can appropriately change the décor of a house.{via inhabitat}
