Suspended Room Within The Center Of The Apartment

We always say that, in the case of an apartment, it’s not all about the size but about the interior design. An apartment can be small and spacious at the same time if it has an interior design that solves that problem. Space doesn’t have to be an issue. Of course, it’s a challenge to make a small place look large. Luckily, we have a great example to inspire you. This apartment was redesigned and completely transformed by Parisian architects Emmanuel Combarel and Dominique Marrec.

The most interesting feature of the apartment is the white cube room from the center of this place. It’s definitely an unusual thing to see but it’s also what solved the space problem in this case. This suspended room clears lots of floor space and also provides additional space.

The apartment only measures 50 square meters but it definitely looks larger. The white cubic room is suspended from the ceiling and stands in the middle of the living room. It can be seen from the entrance and it’s definitely a focal point.

The white cube is very mysterious. It faces the opposite side of the room so you can’t really see anything inside it and you just keep wondering what that could be and what’s hidden inside. It’s a simple feature but it’s awakens your curiosity and imagination and this definitely makes it very interesting. But what does this room contain after all? Well, nothing unusual. It has a small bed and a small table and the rest of the space can be filled with whatever else one needs.
