Stylish pink girl’s room interior design

After showing you the boy’s room makeover, it’s time to mix things up and to continue with a girl’s room. This one is not a makeover so there are no before pictures. It’s a project started from scratch. Everything that you see there was designed and adapted specifically for this room. The theme of the room was decided after finding the bedding. It had a beautiful Parisian flair and that became the inspiration source.

In order to make it pop, the bed was painted with a fun tone of red. There’s not a specific color that was chosen for this room. There are various shades of color that are combined. For example, the bed matched part of the curtains and the small able. But the walls are pale green, the rug is pink, the small ladder is yellow and the pillows further introduce more colors and prints. On the wall above the bed there’s a lovely mirror with a vintage feel.

The nightstand is very delicate and stylish. It provides space for the lamp and a small storage shelf underneath for a book for example. Since this is a 5 year old girl’s room, a study desk was not necessary so instead an art center was chosen. A breakfast tray was turned into a lap desk and it also matches the bed.

The storage was not a problem. However, some modifications needed to be done. The closet has sliding doors but they were difficult to open and close so they were removed. The closet became an open space and a part of the décor. The room will have to be modified as its user grown up so changes are still to be done.
