You can use all sorts of strategies to light up your home. You can have a sumptuous chandelier, a simple pendant lamp, a modern floor lamp, a romantic table lamp, candles or these lighting sticks. This is the Stickbulb, a new and innovative creation coming from New York City based design firm RUX. The Stickbulb is an innovative lighting fixture with a very simple but very eye-catching design.

The Stickbulb could be called a modular LED lighting fixture. Its name is actually very suggestive. One such item is made from several wooden sticks, actually thin strips of wood that are interconnected and secured together in key locations. These sticks light up with the help of LED technology. These modular lighting sticks are made from reclaimed wood. They are crafted in RUX’s New York City workshop.

To make a Stickbulb the workers can use a wide variety of materials. These vary from maple to sun bleached Ipe salvaged from the Coney Island boardwalk. All the wood is salvaged and repurposed to create these innovative lighting fixture. You can use the Stickbulbs as floor lamps. They have modular designs and can be rearranged according to the user’s needs. Their flexible shape allows you to use them for a variety of different purposes. These lighting fixtures are more than a new way of lighting up your home. They are modern decorations and eye-catching details that make a room stand out.
