Steampunk-inspired tunnel for cats that want to combine privacy with the fun of playing hide and seek

Cats love to play and to have fun. They especially enjoy playing hide and seek with their human friends. But there is one thing that they probably love even more than that: their privacy. So if you want to combine these two things and to give your feline friends the perfect environment, maybe you could get some inspiration from this room.

This is a space that functions as an office but also as a room designed especially for the owner’s feline friends. The most unusual and eye-catching feature is evidently the steampunk inspired tunnel. The tunnel was created by husband and wife duo from design firm Because We Can. The name of the firm basically says it all. Why not give your furry friends a fun environment where they can play and have fun if you can?

The tunnel actually has a simple design and construction and the most eye-catching part is its steampunk-inspired look. The choice of style for this tunnel was also chosen in conformity with the design of the office. The whole space has an overall industrial-chic look with vintage and rustic touches. The tubes that form the tunnel surround the room and they have access to multiple points throughout. They have miniature windows and openings that allow the cats to connect with the activities in the room. They can play inside the tunnel, hide inside it and peek out to see what’s happening in the room. It really looks like something any cat would love to have.

Of course, such an elaborate system can only be used in a room that’s large enough to accommodate it without feeling cluttered. The room must also be a space where the cats wouldn’t feel unwelcomed and where they could play and have fun freely, without feeling restricted. There’s no point in giving your pets such a fun tunnel if you won’t let them enjoy it.
