Spiral Service Area Station from Iseppi Kurath

I wonder how many service stations on the planet are as admirable as this award winning design from Iseppi Kurath. The design adores a spiral shape and it is intended to make the service station function as a window towards the region. Obviously when the area in discussion is Switzerland, it deserves to be viewed and this base is located next to the Thusis-Nord at the highway A13 in Grisons, Switzerland.

The main attraction is the roof which helps this station accommodate places like a restaurant, bar area and even a tourist information center. On the inside, the station is finished in wood while the overall structure is waterproof.
