But we are more interested in the chair than in the iMac. The iMac is just an appendix to this gorgeous piece of furniture. Sonic chair was designed and then manufactured in order to illustrate that old and new can stand in line one next to another, that the old fashioned way of making furniture is totally compatible with the latest technological devices. So we gave up the traditional material for furniture – wood – and started making chairs out of metal. Then we gave the chair a futuristic look by applying some synthetic fabric in a vivid colour on the chair that is using a grid to make it even more unusual. And instead of normal legs the chair is provided with a single support that can’t be called a leg. Finally, attach the latest quality iMac and you’ve got the thing all young people are crazy for.
