Small Nordic Apartment With Industrial Touches

Sweden is the place where the sun is always up on the sky, that a person who isn’t a local couldn’t tell if it’s day or night. There is also the place of very long winters with lots of precipitations, and by precipitations I mean a lot of snow. Thereby they spend a lot of time inside the house. Being the place where you spend most of your life their interiors have to be comfortable, warm, welcoming so they use all kind of tricks to make living inside a pleasant experience.

This interior here is only 49 square meters but done very well. With not much furniture in it the attention was focused on details. As we can see a lot of accessories  are used as the living room lamp or clock, not to mention the wonderful speed  indicator from the wall.  The open space is enhanced by the white color on the walls and gorgeous shiny floor.  The mixture of style is obvious but the overall design is actually very good. The industrial touches are not typical for a traditional Swedish home but in this particularly design they accent the youthful air.

Despite its small the space in very well organized and compartmented into specific areas for sleeping, cooking and so on. Sporadically  there are items with strong colors to animate the place in a good way, creating  eye-catching focal points . Wall paper is also used into the design, a bold choise I would say because in general such an element make the place feel tight.{found on Stadshem}.
