Small Law Office Interior Design by Nelson Resende

This minimalist place is a lawyer’s office and it’s located at Rua Pedro Álvares Cabral, nº 9, São João da Madeira, Portugal. The office was a project by Nelson Resende for Dra. Sandra R. Almeida. The office coveres an area os 49,80 square meters and its construction was completed in 2011. The office was organized in a small place in a commercial and residential building in Portugal, near the São João da Madeira’s Court.

Even though it’s rather small, the space allowed the creation of a lawyer’s office where all the essentials could be included. It’s a place for receiving clients and it includes a small washroom and the office itself. The office has large windows that allow plenty of natural light to be used during the day. In order to save as much space as possible, the walls of the office have been replaced by wardrobes. This way storage doesn’t represent a problem and it doesn’t take additional floor space.

The materials that have been used were carefully chosen as to simplify the solutions and to also make everything cheaper while speeding the construction. The walls, the furniture and the pavement have all been solved using wood panels only. This way the office has a uniform look while also being inviting and more home-like. The overall imagine is rather abstract. It’s also clean, simple and also personalized in the same time.{found on archdaily}
