Sketch lamp by Hung-Ming Chen and Ninna Kapadia
The Swedish designer Hung-Ming Chen and Ninna Kapadia created Sketch Lamp, a lamp designed squar and linear, with more features. Sketch Lamp can be transformed into a work lamp on pedestal desk, where to stay comfortably on an A4 drawing and trace with ease. Sketch Lamp, ideal for designers and artists, is produced in white, light blue and gray in a fun bright yellow.
The most unusual, but practical feature of this lamp is that it has a folding arm. Its arm is made of many parts that articulate together and allow you to bend them and arrange them as you see fit, just like flexing your own arm or leg when you need to get something from a lower shelf.
This gives you more easiness in handling the lamp and move its light from one side to the other without having to actually move the lamp. The lamp shade is also a bit unusual, but modern and cool, as it is square instead of round or oval like in most cases. But it looks great and it is really useful. And it allows you to draw your sketches directly on its glass that covers the light bulb, which can be a life saver for artists.
