Scrittarello Working Station

Proof that some things are ahead of their times and people can’t understand them very well when they appear is this small desk. It appeared in the middle of the ‘90s and because Achille Castiglioni was a visionary people didn’t quite understood at that time his statement. Nowadays this desk is perfect for a minimalist working station with white glossy computers and shiny books and magazines with the only colored thing that stands out: a beautiful girl in an airy summer dress.

Working area are build upon a common philosophy that people should concentrate at their work until the day is over and then go home and relax, have some fun, go out for a couple of beers and so on. This idea is totally wrong in my opinion for a significant number of reasons. One of them is physiologically; we can focus on something for a big period of time, the second most important reason is that an environment that cultivates this idea can’t produce brilliant idea because our mine and life is spontaneous.

A lot of scientists came out with brilliant ideas after partying with their friends, or some, playing with their dog in the park. So if you want to think outside of the box get one from one. This desk makes your work area brighter, relaxed, making you feel relaxed- the perfect state for creativity. The high quality materials and marvelous white finish brings out some elegancy in the area as well as a nice warm decorative touch.
